Implements of Husbandry (IoH) and Agricultural Commercial Vehicles (Ag CMV) Permits
Wisconsin Act 377 passed in 2014 made changes to the Implements of Husbandry (IoH) law, including new definitions of IoH, new classes of vehicles, increased weight limits, new permitting requirements, self-certification, and new lighting and marking standards . Click here for a summary of the changes: IoH Summary
Kewaunee County has chosen Option F which requires IoH and Ag CMV’s to apply for permits to exceed the weight limits established in ACT 377. The permits must be obtained from the maintaining authority (municipality, town, county, state) of the roads to be operated upon. WisDOT created the application which will be used by all maintaining road authorities that require a permit to operate over the new weight and length limits.
